Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fancy Nancy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxcar Willie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Boxcar Willie!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nancy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Willie.
Nancy closes the distance looking to clinch
and Willie finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Nancy misses the target.
Nancy throws a lazy right hand but Willie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A left and a right from Nancy both land. Nice combination.
A jab from Nancy misses.
Nancy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Willie in his tracks.
Willie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nancy did well to prevent Willie getting side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nancy lands a nice shot to the body.
Nancy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nancy cracks Willie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nice combo by Nancy! Oh, that's hurt him - Willie falls to the canvas and Nancy follows him into side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Willie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nancy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Willie is letting Nancy control him for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fancy Nancy dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Willie shoots in looking for a takedown but Nancy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Willie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fancy Nancy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nancy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Nancy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Willie counters with a left to the body.
Willie misses with a body shot.
Nancy lands a nice shot that snaps Willie's head back.
Nancy jabs Willie right on the nose. Willie blinks but takes it well.
Willie walks into a left hand.
Nancy throws a nice outside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Willie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Nancy just misses with a punch to the body.
Nancy misses with a few strikes there.
Willie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Willie is breathing heavily.
Willie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nancy pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Willie takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Willie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nancy.
Nancy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Willie can do to turn this around?

Willie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Willie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Nancy connects with a leg kick. Willie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Nancy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Willie manages to avoid it.

Willie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nancy.

Nancy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Willie.
Nancy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nancy throws a leg kick which misses Willie's front leg but catches the back leg as Willie tries to avoid it.
Nancy cracks Willie with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nancy scores with a nice strike.
Willie closes the distance and clinches up with Nancy, looking for a takedown. Willie pushes Nancy against the cage but Nancy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Willie has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Nancy here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Willie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Willie finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Nancy's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Willie falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
