Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dragonov looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Dragonov throwing strikes from guard but Gregory blocks nicely.
Dragonov wants to stand but Gregory has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Gregory is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gregory bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dragonov's guard.
Gregory landing with the ground and pound.
Gregory prevents Dragonov from getting back to his feet.
Dragonov can't keep his opponent in guard - Gregory advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Gregory tries to pass to full mount but Dragonov defends it.

Dragonov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gregory. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gregory is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dragonov defends it well.
Gregory thows a huge punch but Dragonov dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dragonov wants to improve his position but Gregory is controlling well.
Dragonov moves into full guard.
Gregory stops Dragonov from standing up.
Dragonov is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Gregory has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dragonov looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Gregory stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dragonov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gregory passes Dragonov's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dragonov wants to get back to his feet.

Dragonov tries to buck Gregory off but Gregory is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dragonov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gregory tries to advance to mount but can't.
Dragonov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gregory asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Gregory has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dragonov is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Gregory yanks on the arm and Dragonov is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Gregory.
