Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Largius Fistius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Hartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fistius tries to clinch but Hartman is having none of it.
Hartman misses with a wild combination.
Fistius shoots in but Hartman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fistius changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hartman tries to avoid it but Fistius manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hartman to the ground. Hartman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hartman stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Largius Fistius. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fistius walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Hartman rushes Fistius and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fistius has picked Hartman up - he's going for a ride! Fistius dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hartman wants to control but Fistius is keeping busy.

Hartman kicks off Fistius and gets to his feet.
Hartman misses with a series of wild punches.
Largius Fistius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hartman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fistius looks to land a body kick but Hartman moved away.

Fistius creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hartman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Fistius working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Hartman is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fistius connects with a decent elbow.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hartman keeps Fistius under control for a moment.
Fistius tries to advance to mount but Hartman denies him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fistius fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hartman can't do much from the bottom here.
Hartman pushes Fistius away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fistius gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Hartman looks gassed!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fistius shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Fistius has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hartman wants to stand up but Fistius is controlling him.

Fistius sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hartman's guard.
Fistius is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Fistius is tying to control. Hartman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Fistius is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Hartman has managed to free his arm - good work.
Fistius thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hartman is looking for a sweep. Fistius is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hartman flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Fistius is thwarting Hartman's attempts to control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fistius throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hartman's waist but Hartman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fistius off to one side.

Hartman wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Fistius has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hartman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Fistius yanks on the arm and Hartman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Fistius.
