Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Captain Kat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiromichi Takamatsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Captain Kat has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Captain Kat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiromichi Takamatsu!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Takamatsu.
Kat buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kat throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Takamatsu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kat on the side of the head.
A clash of legs there as Takamatsu blocks the low kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kat.
Kat scores with a head kick. Takamatsu tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Takamatsu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kat swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Takamatsu moves in looking to clinch but Kat pushes him off.
Kat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Takamatsu throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Takamatsu will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kat up against the ropes.

Kat wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Takamatsu has him pressed against the ropes.

Kat wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Takamatsu has him pressed against the ropes.
A head punch on the inside from Takamatsu fails to land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Captain Kat will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Takamatsu tries to close the distance and clinch but Kat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Takamatsu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kat - the referee stops the clock and Takamatsu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kat. Takamatsu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
