PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kazna Futzchag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Futzchag comes to the cage accompanied by Emika. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Futzchag has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mullen prevents Futzchag from breaking the clinch.

Mullen wants to break free but Futzchag has control.

Futzchag is trying to drag Mullen to the mat but Mullen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Futzchag tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mullen smiles and moves away.

Futzchag shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mullen's guard.

Futzchag drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mullen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mullen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mullen!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Futzchag misses the shot to the body.
Futzchag tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Futzchag really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Futzchag on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mullen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Futzchag.

Mullen is looking for a sweep. Futzchag is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kazna Futzchag will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
