PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferguson has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mason.
Ferguson looks gassed!

Mason shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mason was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mason landing strikes, looking to finish!
Mason tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mason is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ferguson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ferguson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mason anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ferguson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mason slips an arm under Ferguson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mason has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mason is squeezing on Ferguson like an anaconda would it's prey. Ferguson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
