PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Feng Kai Hao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cayser Koze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hao comes to the cage accompanied by Year of the Dragon. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Feng Kai Hao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cayser Koze!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hao fails to land with a series of punches.
Hao throws a nice looking combination but Koze bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hao moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Koze slaps away a takedown attempt from Hao, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Koze wants to clinch.
Koze connects with the punch.

Hao closes the distance and clinches.
Hao jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Koze walks away with a smile on his face. Hao gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Feng Kai Hao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hao gets tackled into the cage by Koze. Koze maintains the clinch.
Koze tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hao just stands there and leans against the cage.
Koze keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hao's efforts to push away.

Hao has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Koze uses from the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hao wants to stand up but Koze is controlling him.

Koze throws a big elbow that misses.
Koze trying to control the position from guard on top but Hao is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Koze stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hao swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hao is looking to stand up but Koze isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Koze wants to control from the top but Hao keeps moving.
Koze really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hao. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Cayser Koze was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Hao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Koze moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Koze shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hao wants to clinch.
Hao throws a series of punches but Koze avoids them all with ease.

Koze closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Koze pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Koze fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Feng Kai Hao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cayser Koze.
Koze dodges the punch combination from Hao.
Hao throws a series of punches but Koze avoids them all with ease.
Koze tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hao sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Koze somewhat.
Hao misses with a wild combination.
Koze is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hao.
Koze misses with a takedown attempt - Hao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Koze tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hao sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Koze somewhat.

A combination from Hao does no damage.
Hao will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hao is breathing heavily.
Hao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Koze wants to clinch up but Hao keeps it at a distance.

Koze moves into the clinch successfully.
Koze lands with a light punch inside.
Koze blocks an uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Koze jumps into guard, dragging Hao to the mat.
Hao stays in close to Koze's body and controls the position.
Koze utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cayser Koze will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Horrible takedown by Koze or perhaps it was just good defense by Hao which made him look bad.
Hao slaps away a takedown attempt from Koze, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Koze has taken the fight to the clinch.
Koze tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hao avoids it.
Hao is trying to break the clinch but Koze is controlling him.
Hao swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Koze's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hao tries to bum rush Koze with a series of wild strikes but Koze uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Koze counters by moving into the clinch.
Hao tries to break free but Koze pushes him back against the cage.
Hao wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Koze has him pressed against the cage.

Koze misses with a short punch on the inside.
Koze is looking for a takedown.
Feng Kai Hao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cayser Koze.

Koze decides to pull guard.
Koze keeping moving, preventing Hao from controlling successfully.
Hao is looking to work some ground and pound but Koze has wrist control.
Hao with a flurry of punches that miss.
Hao throwing strikes but missing.

Hao drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hao jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Koze moves in looking to clinch but Hao pushes him off.
Hao tries to clinch up but Koze circles away and keeps his distance.

Nice sprawl there from Koze as Hao shoots in.
Hao fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Koze fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hao avoids it really well and circles away.

Koze shoots for a double leg takedown but Hao sprawls well. He's pushed Koze's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hao tries to close the distance and clinch but Koze swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Koze shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hao as he avoids it easily.
Hao tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Koze paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hao scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Hao shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hao was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hao wants to control the pace but Koze is squirming around nicely.

Koze tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Koze is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hao lands a nice shot to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hao lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Feng Kai Hao dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Hao misses with a two punch combination.
Hao walks forward, straight into a front kick from Koze.
Hao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Koze moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Koze shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hao but Hao pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Koze dodges the punch combination from Hao.
Hao connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Hao throws a nice looking combination but Koze bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hao moves into the clinch.
Hao tries to break free but Koze pushes him back against the cage.
Koze is trying to maintain a safe position but Hao gets an underhook and turns Koze into the cage.

No joy there for Hao, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Koze doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hao throws a leg kick but Koze sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Hao leaves Koze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hao fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Koze, pushing him back against the cage.
Hao wants to get back to striking at distance but Koze won't allow it.
Hao wants to break free but Koze has control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Koze closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hao circles away.
Hao swinging wildly here.

And that's the end of the fight!
Feng Kai Hao showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hao has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Feng Kai Hao decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
