Kimmo has chosen Roni Size-Bite The Bullet as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimmo misses with a two punch combination.
Davis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Davis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Davis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kimmo, who protects the arm well.
Kimmo tries to bench press Davis off him but Davis keeps the position.

Davis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kimmo has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kimmo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kimmo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Davis to his feet.
Kimmo throws a nice inside leg kick.
Davis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kimmo pinned against the cage. Kimmo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kimmo tries to clinch up but Davis circles away and keeps his distance.

Michael Kimmo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kimmo throws a low kick but Davis avoids it.
Kimmo wants to land a leg kick but Davis is out of range.
Kimmo connects with a right hand. Davis shakes it off.

It looks like Ricky Davis has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kimmo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Davis to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kimmo wants to control but Davis is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Kimmo tries to close the distance and clinch but Davis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Davis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kimmo's guard now.

Kimmo doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
