Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jason Mingle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Mclain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mingle kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Haruka Kanata. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mingle moves to clinch but Mclain breaks away
and Mclain counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mingle fails with a takedown attempt.
Mingle wants to clinch but Mclain slips to the side

and Mclain moves into the clinch.
Mingle misses with some punches.
Mclain pushes Mingle back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A left hand lands to the body for Mclain.
Mingle has Mclain pressed against the cage, preventing Mclain from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mclain wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mingle drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mclain pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sloppy strikes from Mclain. Those never looked like landing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch combination from Mclain misses.
Mingle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Mingle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mingle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mclain sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mingle somewhat.
Mclain takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Mclain's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mclain duly obliges.
Mingle fails with the takedown
and Mclain counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Mingle! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
