The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez stuffs the takedown.
Bee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Fernandez lands a left and a right that sends Bee crashing to the canvas! Fernandez dives into mount looking to finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fernandez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fernandez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Bee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fernandez as he jumps to the side.

Tom Bee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fernandez lands with an uppercut that bounces Bee off the cage and back into range.

and Fernandez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Bee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fernandez sprawls well. Fernandez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bee gets slowly back to his feet.
Fernandez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bee doesn't seem bothered though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fernandez drops Bee with a left right combo! Fernandez follows him down to the ground into side control.

Fernandez stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Bee is still on wobbly legs! Can Fernandez finish him?
Fernandez steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Bee is out on his feet! Fernandez sets himself and nearly takes Bee's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

A very excited looking Thibault Fernandez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
