The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Moscato closes the distance and clinches.
Moscato is trying to drag Martinez to the mat but Martinez just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Moscato is trying to push Martinez away but Martinez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Moscato wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martinez keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martinez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moscato swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ted Moscato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moscato shoots for a double leg takedown but Martinez sprawls well. He's pushed Moscato's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jesus Martinez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ted Moscato.

Martinez stalks Moscato and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Moscato's face. Moscato staggers backwards, shaken.

Martinez forces Moscato back against the cage and clinches.
Moscato is trying to break free.
A frustrated look appears on Martinez's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Martinez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Moscato to keep the fight standing.
Martinez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Moscato leaves Martinez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Martinez lands with a slapping head kick.

Moscato shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Martinez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Moscato is looking to clinch but Martinez is avoiding it.

and Martinez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Moscato fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Moscato avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Martinez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Ted Moscato has been cut.
Moscato fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Martinez to the ground. Moscato is now in Martinez's guard.
Martinez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moscato doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moscato manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Moscato has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Martinez has hold of Moscato's hands but Moscato slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Moscato is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Martinez is looking to get back to full guard here but Moscato has managed to pass to side control instead.

Moscato is working Martinez over with some ground and pound from side control.
Moscato is working to tighten is grip on Martinez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Martinez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Moscato is really squeezing tight and eventually Martinez passes out! Moscato breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
