PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Birchmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mak Artur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artur has chosen I shall return as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Artur coming out on top.
Birchmont stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Artur tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Birchmont paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Artur is looking to clinch but Birchmont is avoiding it.
Birchmont rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Artur counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Artur misses with an uppercut
and Birchmont counters with a nice uppercut.
Artur slips a straight right by Birchmont.
Birchmont fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Artur on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Artur looks to score with a jab to the body but Birchmont is just out of range.
Artur misses with a lunging right hand

and Birchmont counters with a left hand that sends Artur to the canvas!

Artur is rocked!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Birchmont decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Artur misses with a wild body shot.
Birchmont weaves into range and cracks Artur right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Artur goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Birchmont is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
