The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNight misses with a takedown
and Mehoff counters with a head kick. That will keep McNight thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
McNight takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
McNight gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mehoff counters with a straight right hand.

Mehoff pushes McNight up against the cage in a clinch.

Mehoff has clasped his hands together around McNight's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McNight defending against the ground and pound.
Mehoff creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Mehoff wants to control but McNight is keeping him busy.

Mehoff decides to stand back up. Mehoff steps back and let's McNight get back to his feet.

McNight takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mehoff throws a quick inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nice combo by Mehoff! Oh, that's hurt him - McNight falls to the canvas and Mehoff follows him into side control.

McNight is rocked!

Mehoff tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Oh McNight is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mehoff cracks McNight with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Mehoff immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! McNight is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Mehoff!
