Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chase DeLong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evan Kelly is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but DeLong swivels and escapes.
Kelly shoots for a double leg takedown but DeLong sprawls well. He's pushed Kelly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
DeLong closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kelly circles away.
Kelly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. DeLong tries to avoid it but Kelly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag DeLong to the ground. DeLong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chase DeLong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Kelly.

and Kelly decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in DeLong's guard.

DeLong is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

DeLong had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kelly defends it easily.

DeLong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kelly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

DeLong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

DeLong dives in and grabs Kelly's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kelly pushes down on DeLong's head and hops out.

DeLong postures up in Kelly's guard and throws a big left but Kelly blocks it.

DeLong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kelly is looking for a triangle here but DeLong uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

DeLong has an Americana. Kelly didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! DeLong is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if DeLong hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
