Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jim Ironheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhang Xianfa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ironheart kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jag - Phone Numbers. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ironheart scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Xianfa throws a low kick but Ironheart moves out of range easily.

Jim Ironheart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Xianfa scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Xianfa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close round but Zhang Xianfa will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ironheart has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Xianfa and Ironheart are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Xianfa throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Ironheart into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Xianfa knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Zhang Xianfa decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
