A fine choice. Hardly is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eminem- Not Afraid. Dan Hardly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark just misses with a punch to the body.
Stark misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hardly.
Stark misses with a hook
and Hardly counters with a thumping low kick.

Hardly moves into the clinch.
Stark tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hardly tries to break free but Stark pushes him back against the cage.
Hardly jumps guard but Stark stands there with Hardly around his waist. Hardly gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hardly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stark fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hardly looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hardly feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stark's calf.
Hardly slips a jab from Stark.
Hardly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stark throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hardly on the side of the head.
Hardly tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hardly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Anthony Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hardly has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stark clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
