The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Welker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fanning has time to react.
Fanning misses with a looping right.
Welker scores with a jab to the head.
Fanning takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Welker clinches up with Fanning and pushes him back against the cage.
Fanning escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Fanning around the waist but Fanning pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Fanning is the winner by TKO! Fanning jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
