Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Keyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Saalistaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Keyes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hollywood Undead - Dead Bite. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saalistaja fails in his attempt to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Keyes. Saalistaja does a little dance to reset his feet.
Keyes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Saalistaja as he jumps to the side.
Keyes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Saalistaja on his heels. He'll look to pass Saalistaja's guard now, I'm sure.
Keyes has gone for a leg lock! Saalistaja slips out almost immediately though and dives into Keyes's guard.

Saalistaja chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Keyes can pounce on him.

Keyes slips a jab and a cross from Saalistaja.
Keyes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Saalistaja stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Saalistaja shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Keyes as he avoids it easily.

Keyes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Saalistaja shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Keyes sprawls well. Keyes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Saalistaja gets slowly back to his feet.

Keyes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Saalistaja moves away.
Keyes fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Saalistaja on the side of the head.

Keyes has hold of Saalistaja's hands but Saalistaja slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Keyes closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Saalistaja's guard.

Saalistaja has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Keyes.
Keyes keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Keyes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Saalistaja sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Keyes somewhat.
