I think Scaletta might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston . Sosha has chosen Hysteria-Muse as his entrance music. Ryan Sosha looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Sosha!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scaletta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sosha was well out of range. Poor timing from Scaletta.
Sosha lands with a kick to the temple. Scaletta shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Sosha tries to clinch up but Scaletta circles away and keeps his distance.
Vito Scaletta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sosha on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Scaletta closes the distance and clinches.

Sosha ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sosha no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Scaletta has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Sosha has a closed guard, preventing Scaletta from standing up.
Scaletta wants to stand and escape but instead Sosha has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Vito Scaletta has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Scaletta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sosha moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sosha fails with the takedown.
Scaletta misses with a hook. Sosha ducked under it nicely.

Oooooh!!! Scaletta has knocked Sosha down with a huge combo! Scaletta steps away and waves a wobbly Sosha back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Sosha is rocked!

It looks like Ryan Sosha has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Scaletta batters Sosha with a massive right followed by a huge left! Sosha is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Scaletta lands a final crushing right hand to drop Sosha to the mat with a gruesome thud! Scaletta is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Vito Scaletta!
A very excited looking Vito Scaletta rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
