Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renee Mondeux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Axon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mondeux comes to the cage accompanied by Ronnie McCoury-Cajun Man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mondeux defends it nicely.

Axon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mondeux avoids it really well and circles away.
Mondeux goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Mondeux fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Axon to the ground. Mondeux is now in Axon's guard.
Axon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mondeux defends well.
Axon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Mondeux has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
