The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omega shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baatar as he avoids it easily.
Baatar could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Baatar moves in looking to clinch but Omega pushes him off.

and Baatar counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Omega blocks an elbow strike from Baatar.
Baatar avoiding damage as Omega throws knees to the body.
Baatar is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Baatar creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Omega's defenses.

It looks like Alfa Omega has been cut.
Baatar lands an elbow just above Omega 's eye.

That has opened up Alfa Omega's cut even more.
Omega is looking to control Baatar's arms but Baatar gets an underhook and turns him. Now Omega has his back to the cage.
Omega seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks.
Baatar lands an elbow just above Omega 's eye.

The cut above Alfa Omega's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alfa Omega's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
