Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Tokugawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Lyoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokugawa closes the distance but Lyoto moves to the side
and Lyoto counters with a nice body kick.
Lyoto turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lyoto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That was a close round but I would say that Shogun Tokugawa will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Lyoto throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lyoto plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Tokugawa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lyoto is fending him off so far but Tokugawa persists. Nope, Lyoto circles away and we're back to standing.

and Lyoto counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lyoto lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tokugawa circles away quickly and effectively.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lyoto enables Tokugawa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lyoto manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Tokugawa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tokugawa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lyoto is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tokugawa gets his way!

Lyoto has hold of Tokugawa's leg, trying to break free but it's let Tokugawa lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Lyoto is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Tokugawa throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
