The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thill looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oyewole is fending him off so far but Thill persists. Nope, Oyewole circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Oyewole is defended easily by Thill.

Thill fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Oyewole sprawls well initially but Thill persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
