The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green closes the distance and clinches.
Scholes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Green tries to break free but Scholes pushes him back against the cage.
Green goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Green lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Scholes backwards.
Scholes tries for a takedown. No joy.
Green leaning his opponent against the cage.
Scholes blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Green wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Scholes has him pressed against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Green.
Green has a couple of punches blocked by Scholes.
A head punch on the inside from Green fails to land.
Green misses with the head strike.
Come on Green - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Green misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Green has had enough of the clinch but Scholes keeps him there for the moment.

Green misses with a punch to the body.
Scholes drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Green gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Green pushes Scholes back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Green misses with some punches.
Green is leaning against Scholes and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Green lands a right hand.
Scholes takes a shot to the head.
Green tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Green misses with a short punch on the inside.
A nice left hand lands by Green.
Green is pushing Scholes up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Green breaks the clinch.

Green paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scholes ducks under a wild hook from Green.
Michael Green is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Scholes tried to score with a low kick but Green checks it.
Scholes slips a jab and a cross from Green.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Green, as that shot connected.

It looks like Leonard Scholes has been cut.
Green moves in close and cracks Scholes with a massive right hand! Scholes, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Green!
