The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gale moves out of range of the body kick.
Gale ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A swing and a miss from Elliott.
Elliott throws a hook to the side of Gale's head but Gale sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Elliott looks to throw the jab but Gale is out of range.

and Gale counters with a nice body kick.

and Gale counters with a nice leg kick.
Elliott clobbers Gale with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gale explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Elliott is breathing heavily.
Elliott throws a head kick that misses.

Elliott has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gale.
Gale is looking to slow Elliott down with leg kicks.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Elliott crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gale - the referee stops the clock and Elliott gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gale. Elliott manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Gale fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Elliott chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gale can pounce on him.

It looks like Derrick Elliott has been cut.

Gale stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Gale lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Elliott will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Gale lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Elliott is rocked!
Gale creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Elliott with a big uppercut! Elliott tries to clinch up but Gale pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Elliott to the mat! Elliott covers up and Gale unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
