Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Walker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Walker leaves Polo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Polo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Polo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walker as he jumps to the side.
Crunch! Walker slams his shin into Polo's torso.

and Walker counters with a head kick that drops Polo to the mat! Polo scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Polo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Walker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Polo somewhat.
Dean Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Polo.
Polo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Walker counters with a slapping leg kick.
Polo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A looping hook to the body misses from Polo. Walker does a little dance to reset his feet.

Polo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Polo shoots in for a double leg but Walker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Walker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Polo is able to avoid easily.
Walker fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Polo is out of range.

Polo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Walker wants to slow Polo down by chopping away at his legs.
Marco Polo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Polo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Polo is looking for a takedown.
Polo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Walker after a bit of a struggle.

Polo has Walker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Walker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Polo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Walker lands a nice shot to the body.
Walker struggles to land a body shot inside as Polo controls his hands.

Polo is trying desperately to land a takedown but Walker is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Polo.

Polo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Walker .
Polo tries to clinch there but Walker circles away.

and Walker counters with a nice low kick that buckles Polo's knee momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Polo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Walker circles away.

That kick from Walker tenderised Polo's leg. Polo is trying to keep his angry face on.

Walker throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Walker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Walker throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Polo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Walker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Walker takes a swing at Polo's ribcage but misses.
Polo blocks a head kick by Walker .
Walker circles away from the clinch attempt.

Walker throws a push kick but Polo slaps the foot to one side.
Walker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Polo.
Polo wants to clinch
and Walker counters with an outside leg kick.
Polo shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Polo throws a series of punches but Walker avoids them all with ease.
Walker attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Polo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Polo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dean Walker showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Walker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Dean Walker wins by unanimous decision!
Dean Walker decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
