Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Tomson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomson has chosen Bubba Shot the Jukebox last night- Mark Chestnut as his entrance music. Manny Simmons could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Julius Tomson's chin.

Tomson drops back looking for a leg! Simmons is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Simmons manages to kick Tomson off! Tomson jumps back into Simmons's guard.

Tomson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Simmons manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tomson has Simmons in his guard.

Simmons stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Simmons tries to bum rush Tomson with a series of wild strikes but Tomson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tomson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Simmons manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tomson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Simmons dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Simmons wants to stand but Tomson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Manny Simmons.
I think Simmons has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
