And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Summit!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Summit rushes Di Monte and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Summit managing to block the knees to the body from Di Monte.
Di Monte wants to stall.
Summit should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Summit is working Di Monte over against the ropes.
Di Monte is trying to force a seperation but Summit has the dominant position.
Di Monte tries to work over Summit's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Summit breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Di Monte wants to clinch up but Summit keeps it at a distance.

and Summit counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Di Monte is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Summit wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Di Monte rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Summit moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Leo Di Monte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Di Monte lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Di Monte fails to land with a series of punches.
Di Monte tries to clinch there but Summit circles away.
Summit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Di Monte doesn't manage to clinch there - Summit circles away.
Danga de danga de dang - Di Monte scores with a four punch combination!


It looks like Daniel Summit has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Di Monte wants to clinch
and Summit counters with a straight right hand.
Summit throws a head kick that misses.

Summit breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Di Monte counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Summit to the mat! Di Monte runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Summit is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!


Summit is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Summit walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Summit is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Leo Di Monte!
