Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fist tries to avoid it but Godley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fist to the ground. Fist escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fist scores with a takedown into Godley's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Godley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fist gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Godley looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fist passes into side control.
Fist wants to stand but Godley is controlling his arm.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Godley has his takedown stuffed
and Fist counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Godley thinking.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fist.

and Fist counters with a single leg into guard. Godley didn't expect that.

Fist moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Fist feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Godley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fist defends well.
Godley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fist stacks Godley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fist!
