The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tandy clinches up with Alejandro and pushes him back against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Tandy.
Alejandro has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tandy after a bit of a struggle.

Alejandro gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Alejandro drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tandy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alejandro has Tandy in his guard.
Tandy wants to pass the guard but Alejandro is keeping the position.

Tandy is posturing up here but Alejandro has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Tandy tries to roll out but it's too tight and Tandy has to tap! Slick submission there by Alejandro!
