Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tran has chosen Theme from Mortal Kombat as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Tran!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston moves in looking to clinch but Tran pushes him off.

Tran drives through and clinches with Kingston against the cage.
Kingston tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kingston misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Tran breaks from the clinch.
Tran tries to clinch but Kingston moves out of range.
Tran tries to clinch but Kingston is having none of it.
Tran tries to clinch up
and Kingston counters with a straight right hand.
Kingston shoots in but no luck this time.

Tran closes the distance and clinches.
Tran with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Kingston has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Tran tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Kingston takes an elbow to the temple.
Tran keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kingston's efforts to push away.
Kingston has had enough of the clinch but Tran keeps him there for the moment.

Tran throws an elbow that misses.
Kingston tries to circle away but Tran has him pinned against the cage.
Tran looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Tran tries a knee to the head but Kingston blocks it.

Tran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tran is defended easily by Kingston.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kingston is working for takedown but Tran is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kingston wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tran unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kingston lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Tran pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tran tries to clinch up.
Tran moves in looking to clinch but Kingston pushes him off.

Tran slips a jab and a cross from Kingston.

Kingston tries to bum rush Tran with a series of wild strikes but Tran uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tran misses the shot to the body.
Kingston is looking to clinch but Tran is avoiding it.
Tran tries to clinch but Kingston is having none of it.
Kingston feints a jab promting Tran to slip. Kingston then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tran slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Tran instigates a clinch.
Tran is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Kingston is trying to break the clinch but Tran is controlling him.
A frustrated look appears on Kingston's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Kingston changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tran fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tran tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tran fails in his attempt to clinch.

Kingston closes the distance and clinches.

Tran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Danga de danga de dang - Kingston scores with a four punch combination!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kingston tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Harry Tran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tran shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kingston defends it nicely.
Kingston circles away from the clinch attempt
and Tran takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tran tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kingston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kingston connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Kingston holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Harry Tran will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Kingston counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kingston.
Kingston looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tran throws a knee to the head but misses.
A frustrated look appears on Kingston's face as he tries to break the clinch.

and Kingston counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kingston tries to clinch up.
Kingston scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tran in his tracks.

Tran wants to clinch but Kingston slips to the side
and Kingston cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Kingston counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tran is looking to clinch but Kingston is avoiding it.
Kingston misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kingston circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kingston counters with a stiff right hand.
Tran tries to clinch there but Kingston circles away.
Kingston lands a glancing blow to the side of Tran's head.
Kingston scores with a jab. Tran acknowledges it with a nod of the head.


Tran is rocked!
Kingston throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Tran crashing down! Tran tries to stagger back to his feet but Kingston just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Tran asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Kingston!
