The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bledsoe throws a head kick but Reyes moves out of range.
Drake Bledsoe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reyes closes the distance and clinches up with Bledsoe, looking for a takedown. Reyes pushes Bledsoe against the cage but Bledsoe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bledsoe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reyes swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Reyes counters by moving into the clinch.

Bledsoe has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reyes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Nick Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drake Bledsoe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
