Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lass Backstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Zuman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Backstrom keeps the fight on the outside.
A left and a right from Zuman both land. Nice combination.
Backstrom shoots in but Zuman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zuman looks to clinch

and Backstrom counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Backstrom.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Zuman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Backstrom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Backstrom sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Zuman's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Backstrom is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zuman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Backstrom.
Backstrom seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zuman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Zuman is trying to maintain the position but Backstrom is very close to passing his half guard.
Zuman is trying to stand up here but Backstrom is controlling him well.
Backstrom content to control rather than advance.

Backstrom wants to work for an arm triangle but Zuman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Zuman tries to get to full guard but Backstrom has control of the leg.
Backstrom is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Zuman!

Backstrom is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Zuman has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Backstrom lands a big shot there that rocks Zuman but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Backstrom connects with a bit shot that sees Zuman covering up! More strikes from Backstrom and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Backstrom is our winner by TKO!
