Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Neer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Ivanovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Filter-Hey Man Nice Shot. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marko Ivanovic!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanovic drives through and clinches with Neer against the cage.
Neer can't break the clinch.
Ivanovic taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Neer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ivanovic just stands there and leans against the cage.
Neer is trying to break the clinch but Ivanovic has him pressed against the cage.
Ivanovic is pushing Neer up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Ivanovic is trying to push Neer away but Neer has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Ivanovic drags the fight down to the ground.
Neer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ivanovic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Neer drops back looking for a leg! Ivanovic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ivanovic manages to kick Neer off! Neer jumps back into Ivanovic's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ivanovic wants to sweep but no luck.
Ivanovic controls Neer momentarily but Neer frees himself.
Neer drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Neer as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Ivanovic screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Neer! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Josh Neer!
A very excited looking Josh Neer made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
