The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hogan is defended easily by Gorden .

Hogan tries to keep at a distance but Gorden has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gorden tries for a takedown but Hogan manages to get underhooks.
Gorden lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.
Gorden throws an elbow that misses.

Gorden has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hogan uses from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Hogan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hogan postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Gorden 's head off the mat! Gorden is out! He's out! Hogan jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
