The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bright shoots in looking for a takedown but Mityou manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bright's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mityou stuffs the takedown.

Bright scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mityou manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bright's best efforts.
Mityou regains full guard. Nicely done.
Mityou manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bright manages to get himself to full guard.
Mityou controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mityou sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bright's guard.
Bright wants to stand back up but Mityou manages to pass into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bright is trying to buck Mityou off.
Bright is not content to let Mityou control the position.

Mityou in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Bright is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
