The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Case . No joy for Kaigorodov on that attempt.

Case throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Kaigorodov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Case is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Case has escaped and now he's on top!

Case sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kaigorodov's guard.

Case decides to stand and escape the position.

and Case counters with a lovely straight right hand!

This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Case cracks a nice hook into Kaigorodov's ribs.
Case swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kaigorodov.
Case is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Case turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kaigorodov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Case tries to avoid it but Kaigorodov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Case to the ground. Case escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Second Edition Murder Case has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ignat Kaigorodov.

Kaigorodov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Case moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Ignat Kaigorodov has been cut.
Kaigorodov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Case lands a left and a right that send Kaigorodov crashing to the mat, dazed. Case thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kaigorodov is rocked!

OH! Kaigorodov has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Case smells blood and charges in for the finish! Case unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Kaigorodov sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
