PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Yorke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Kramer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dwight Yorke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kramer looks to land a left hand but Yorke moved out of range nicely.
Yorke has his takedown stuffed

and Kramer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Yorke won't be happy with that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
You can see the frustration on Yorke's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Yorke is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kramer connects with a decent elbow.

Kramer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yorke sees it coming and avoids it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Yorke is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kramer to keep the fight standing.

Kramer has hold of one of Yorke's legs. Yorke is fighting the takedown attempt but Kramer gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Kramer takes a little break here. Yorke wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Damian Kramer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Yorke is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kramer is just riding it out for now. Yorke eventually gives up the hold.

Kramer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Yorke's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Yorke's back!

Kramer doesn't have the hooks in and Yorke manages to turn into his guard.
Yorke is fighting to break Kramer's control of his arms but Kramer is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Kramer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Yorke!

Well Kramer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
