Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
QQ wants to clinch up but Ono keeps it at a distance.
Ono will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

QQ is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

QQ has his foot on Ono's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ono works his way back into a safe position though.

QQ looks to clinch
and Ono counters with a nice double leg into side control. QQ won't be happy with that.

Ono throwing strikes but QQ manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Ono is trying to escape the position but QQ is controlling the position.
QQ wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ono keeps working.

Ono takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

QQ is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ono knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Susie QQ has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
QQ has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ono is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. QQ yanks on the arm and Ono is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by QQ.
