Vegh has chosen Linkin Park- The catalyst as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rutger Crax had a look across the cage there at his opponent. Vegh moves out of range as Crax strikes.
Vegh throws a right and a left that Crax avoids nicely.
Vegh lands with a right hand.
It looks like Rutger Crax has been cut.
Vegh throws a nice looking combination but Crax bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vegh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crax defends it nicely.
Arnold Vegh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vegh doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Crax counters with a nice body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vegh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vegh misses with a jab to the body
and Crax counters with a crisp one two that drops Vegh! Crax thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vegh to his feet! Vegh is in big trouble!
Vegh is rocked!
Crax lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Vegh falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rutger Crax!
Rutger Crax decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
