Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Burza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burza comes to the cage accompanied by Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roman Burza!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Brown!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burza takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tyson Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Burza closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brown circles away.
Brown chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Burza misses with the combination.
Brown misses the shot to the body.
No luck for Burza with that takedown attempt.
Burza lands with a slapping head kick.
Good leg kick by Brown there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burza was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown.

Burza's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Brown is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Burza can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
