Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 2, fighting out of London, Ken Hansen!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from The Great.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hansen.
The Great avoids the head kick by Hansen.
Hansen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hansen wants it to stay on the feet.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hansen, right into the meat.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hansen.
Hansen throws a nice inside leg kick.

Hansen feints and then cracks The Great's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Great down.

Hansen connects with a leg kick. The Great looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

The Great drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hansen is looking for a triangle but The Great pushes his legs off easily.

Hansen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Great manages to get himself to full guard.

Hansen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hansen wants to control from the top but The Great keeps moving.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hansen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hansen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear The Great down.

Ken Hansen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! The Great's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hansen lands a nice short elbow.

The Great sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Hansen uses his free foot to push down on The Great's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for The Great.

Chris The Great has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ken Hansen is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The Great is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hansen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hansen wants to control the pace but The Great is squirming around nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ken Hansen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hansen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Ken Hansen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
