And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bing throws a shot from downtown. Shifter moves away and avoids it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Shifter clinches.

Shifter tightens his grip and picks Bing up, before dumping him to the ground. Bing manages to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Shifter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Bing has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shifter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bing is looking for a triangle but Shifter pushes his legs off easily.
Bing keeping full guard, as Shifter tries to pass.
Shifter passes Bing's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Shifter trying to mount his opponent but Bing defends it.

Shifter is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bing has managed to free his arm - good work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shifter wants to free his trapped foot but Bing is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Shifter decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Bing throws a hook but Shifter avoids it easily.

Bing works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


It looks like Shape Shifter has been cut.

Bing lands with a good body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bing looks to score with a jab to the body but Shifter is just out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Bing. Those never looked like landing.
Shifter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Shifter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bing has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bing gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Bing keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Nice strikes from Shifter there.
Shifter uses his free foot to push down on Bing's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bing.

Shifter looking to secure an arm triangle but Bing defends it well.
Shifter thowing shots but they're missing.

Bing is desperately trying to improve his position but Shifter has a good base and remains in mount.

Shifter is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bing is surviving well by controlling Shifter's body position as best he can.
Bing is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Shifter scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Shifter goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bing turns into him and now he's in Shifter's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bing looking to sit in guard and control but Shifter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bing preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Shifter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bing has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shifter has managed to get both his arms back between Bing's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Shifter advances position into side control!

Shifter is trying to get an arm triangle but Bing is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shape Shifter dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Shape Shifter's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Shifter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bing pinned against the cage. Bing gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Shifter counters with a takedown into side control.
Bing is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Shifter's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Shifter seems to be working for a kimura but Bing defends the submission attempt.
Bing is looking to improve his position.

Bing gets back to full guard.
Shifter stands up over Bing, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Shifter drops back looking for a leg! Bing is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bing manages to kick Shifter off! Shifter jumps back into Bing's guard.

Shifter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shifter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Shifter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bing throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bing utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bing keeping full guard, as Shifter tries to pass.
Bing not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shifter gets to his feet - Bing follows without any prompting.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Shifter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bing's half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Shifter has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Shifter is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bing has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bing is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bing tries to lock up and control but Shifter gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Shifter prevents Bing from getting the reversal.

Shifter is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Shifter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bing sprawls well. Bing wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shifter gets slowly back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Shape Shifter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Shape Shifter gave a mention to KAISER in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
