Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charles Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keenan Tarrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clayton comes to the cage accompanied by Indestructible. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keenan Tarrick!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clayton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tarrick misses with a takedown attempt
and Clayton counters with a nice uppercut.
Clayton swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tarrick.
Clayton pushes Tarrick away with a front kick.
Clayton misses with a two punch combination.
Tarrick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clayton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tarrick somewhat.
Tarrick shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Clayton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tarrick's guard now.
Charles Clayton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keenan Tarrick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Clayton stands up from Tarrick's guard - Clayton perhaps looking for a knockout.
Clayton lands a head kick. Tarrick smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Tarrick shoots and misses
and Clayton counters with a good, hard body kick but Tarrick shrugs it off.
Clayton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Clayton tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Tarrick.
Tarrick looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Clayton trying to control the pace.
Tarrick is looking to improve his position.
Clayton wants to stand up but Tarrick is controlling the position.
Tarrick is looking to get back to is feet but Clayton passes into side control.
Clayton stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Tarrick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clayton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clayton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tarrick scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Clayton with a jab.
Clayton is breathing heavily.
Clayton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tarrick.
Tarrick wants to clinch up but Clayton keeps it at a distance.
Tarrick moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tarrick shoots for a takedown but Clayton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Clayton scores with a kick to the body.
Clayton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Clayton breaks from the clinch.
Tarrick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Clayton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Clayton moves into the clinch.
Clayton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tarrick shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Clayton sprawls well. Clayton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tarrick gets slowly back to his feet.
Tarrick tries to keep at a distance but Clayton has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Clayton manages to break the clinch.
Tarrick with a lazy takedown attempt
and Clayton counters with a head kick. That will keep Tarrick thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Clayton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Clayton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tarrick on the ground.
Clayton controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tarrick is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clayton defends well.
Clayton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tarrick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Clayton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tarrick has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Clayton has managed to get both his arms back between Tarrick's legs - danger averted.
Tarrick has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Clayton doesn't defend quickly enough and Tarrick has managed to lock this one up! Can Clayton escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tarrick on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Keenan Tarrick!
