And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koschelev missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Koschelev misses with an uppercut.
Smith jabbing away but nothing is landing.
No luck for Smith with that takedown attempt.

Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Smith is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Koschelev's shoulder. That is not cool.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Smith is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Koschelev has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Smith tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Smith is working for a guillotine from mount but Koschelev frees his head quite easily.
Smith looking to control and managing it successfully.
Smith seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Koschelev for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Smith cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Koschelev is trying to stand but he's just given Smith his back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Smith controlling the positon.

Smith working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Koschelev is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Smith has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Koschelev taps out!
