The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Campbell Jr.
Campbell Jr shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Campbell Jr is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Campbell Jr's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Campbell Jr drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva!
