Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lath Hoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gilberto da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoy tries to clinch but da Silva moves out of range.
Hoy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hoy uses his free foot to push down on da Silva's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for da Silva.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoy landing strikes from the mount.
Hoy working for a guillotine from mount but da Silva is in no mood to give up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoy prevents da Silva from getting the reversal.
Hoy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
da Silva looks gassed!
Hoy landing strikes from the mount and da Silva is in trouble!
da Silva wants to hold on but Hoy pushes him away.
A nice elbow there by Hoy.
Hoy looking to finish da Silva with some ground and pound. This is bad for da Silva!
da Silva is squirming around, avoiding Hoy's attempts to control the action.
Hoy working for a submission but da Silva is keeping him at bay.
Hoy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hoy looking to control but da Silva is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Hoy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. da Silva is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. da Silva flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hoy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind da Silva and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hoy slips an arm under da Silva chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hoy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hoy is squeezing on da Silva like an anaconda would it's prey. da Silva fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
