Nurburgring is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Asaf Avidan - One day. Bob Esponja could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eta Nurburgring's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Esponja!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eta Nurburgring!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nurburgring throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Esponja tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nurburgring is in Esponja's guard.

Esponja changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nurburgring tries to avoid it but Esponja manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nurburgring to the ground. Nurburgring escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bob Esponja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eta Nurburgring.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Eta Nurburgring decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
