Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nycky Downtime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Attero Dominatus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Downtime kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bring It. Dominatus has chosen Sabaton - Attero Dominatus as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominatus with a lazy takedown attempt
and Downtime counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dominatus tries for a takedown but Downtime circles away easily
and Downtime counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Dominatus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Downtime sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Dominatus is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Downtime reverses the position - he's now on top in Dominatus's guard.

Dominatus is looking for a triangle here but Downtime uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Downtime tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Downtime has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dominatus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Dominatus shoots in looking for a takedown. Downtime tries to sprawl out of it but Dominatus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Downtime manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dominatus takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Downtime throws a nice looking combination but Dominatus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Dominatus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Downtime tries to avoid it but Dominatus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Downtime to the ground. Downtime escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
