Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simon Williamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Prien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williamson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Iggy Pop - Lust For Life . Prien comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Yellow Submarine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prien defending well as Williamson loads up on a big left hand.
Prien shoots in for a takedown but Williamson shows good takedown defense.
The fighters circling - Williamson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Prien gets the takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Prien is trying to move to mount but Williamson reverses beautifully and ends up in Prien's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Prien is on top in guard.

Williamson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Prien can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prien sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Williamson's guard.

Prien has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
